1. Definition
Anti-corrosive agents are additives that prolong the onset of corrosion or significantly reduce the corrosion rate of the paint film under the influence of external factors such as chemical and physical agents, etc.
2. Advantages
- Increases the protective effect of the paint film under external agents
- Does not reduce the adhesion of the paint film
- Prolong the protection time of the paint film on metal surfaces
- Does not affect the gloss, surface smoothness of the paint film.
- Does not wrinkle the paint film.
3. Amount used
Commonly used anti-corrosion additives account for 0.1-0.5%, additives should be stirred well before being introduced in any stage of the production process.
4. Application
- Universal application on metal surfaces
- Suitable for corrosive environments such as ships, chemical environments
