PHTHALATE-FREE PLASTICIZER

Currently, the plasticizer oils used in the PVC, rubber, paint (and others) industries often contain Phthalates. Due to the ability to break the carbon chains in the bonds of macromolecular compounds at high temperatures and low cost, plasticizers containing Phthalates are often used in many different fields.

But Phthalates are also substances that cause adverse effects on human health such as harming brain development, behavioral development and coordination among muscles in children. Its impact on thyroid hormone levels plays an important role in fetal and infant brain development.

This chemical also contaminates water, soil and air. So that, it will be difficult to improve and will affect the lives and activities of people as well as beneficial animals and creatures.

Therefore, phthalate-free plasticizers are considered as an alternative that helps protect people and the environment. Currently, Mega has been developing and distributing the product MG880 which is a composite plasticizer with good compatibility with phthalate-free  PVC. It also has excellent resistance to temperature, mold and aging, excellent plasticizing effect and is fireproof.

MG880 product can be used as phthalate-free PVC plasticizers, used in such applications as PVC artificial leather, PVC water pipes and membranes, cable materials and other fields.
