LEARN ABOUT REFLECTIVE PAINT

Reflective paint is a type of paint containing reflective film-forming substances, also known by the term "reflective balls". When there is the illumination of light rays or lights, objects covered with "reflective paint" will promote the effect of reflective balls to make it easier for people to observe from afar.

Reflective paint is commonly used for traffic signs, road markings, traffic lanes, marker systems, signal lines in basements, parking lots, etc.

Reflective paint is widely used in the transportation industry. However, understanding the researched ingredients in reflective paint is not well understood.

Reflective paint is mostly composed of the following components:

1. Film-forming agent (base resin):

Hydrocarbon Resin C5 (For hotmelt powder coating)

Acrylic Resin (For liquid paint)

2. Powder color: Yellow, white (TiO₂)

3. Filler powder: Silica powder (SiO₂), stone powder (CaCO₃)

4. Other special additives: Reflective balls, lubricating additives, adhesion enhancers, plasticizers
