Vietnam's rubber market share in total US rubber imports in the first quarter of 2021 accounted for 3.09%, up from 1.99% in the first quarter of 2020. The US is tending to increase rubber imports from Vietnam while reducing imports from some main markets such as Thailand and Indonesia.

In the first quarter of 2021, Vietnam is the fourth-largest supplier of natural rubber to the United States, with 13.67 thousand tons, worth $23.37 million, up 48.2% in volume and 69.7% percent in volume compared to the same period in 2020, Vietnam's natural rubber market share in total US imports accounted for 5.96%, rising from 3.94% in the first quarter of 2020.
