EVA FOAM AND ITS APPLICATIONS

1. What is EVA foam?
- EVA foam, also known as EVA foam or EVA form, is produced from Ethylene Vinyl Acetate and is known as a compound of 2 types, Ethylene, and Viny acetate. The ratio between these two components determines the softness and elasticity of EVA foam.

- The large percentage of Vinyl Acetate means that the elasticity and hardness of EVA Foam increases. This rate usually varies from 7% - 60% depending on the needs of the customer and the production.

- Due to its flexible and elastic properties like rubber, it is also known as foam rubber or foam rubber. 

2. Features
- EVA foam is a material with high elasticity like common rubber. However, this material is superior to rubber in that it has high gloss and aesthetics. In addition, this type of foam also has other features such as:

- Has good elasticity and wear resistance, airtightness, and no harm to the human body.

- Waterproof: sealed bubble hole structure, waterproof, moisture-proof, good water resistance.

- With a high gloss, it is almost impossible for water to penetrate these foam sheets.

- Able to resist the destruction of chemicals, and withstand the effects of weather such as sun and rain.

- Able to withstand a large force such as elasticity and tensile strength, high toughness, good an3ti-collision, anti-slip and cushioning performance.

- Has very good insulation,

3. Application of EVA foam in life
- EVA foam is a highly applicable product with sound, heat, and electrical insulation properties:

- Good resistance to heat and force, so it is used as a quality and beautiful floor mat.

- Is an indispensable material for the production of goods such as suitcases, bags, backpacks, shoes, and hats.

- Used as lining, shoe material, box and material bag, car wash brush, handicraft, etc. EVA is used as a shock absorber in sports shoes.

- Used to produce children's toys

- Used in packaging production: EVA-shaped trays, phone pads, computers, boxes, shockproof EVA foam boxes...

- Used to make decorative products such as embroidery pictures, artificial flowers.
