DOP PLASTICIZER OIL 

1. Definition 

DOP Plasticizer Oil is an anhydrous, colorless, transparent liquid with a barely perceptible odor.

DOP plasticizer is soluble in oil and common organic solvents but insoluble in water. With properties of non-volatile, stable, good electrical insulation, and high plasticity. DOP Plasticizer Oil is the first choice in the plasticizer industry which creates high-quality products.

DOP plasticizer is added to the material to help improve the ductility, workability and stretchability of the material.

4. Application of DOP plasticizer in industry

Thanks to the ability to break carbon chains in the bonds with molecular compounds at high temperatures, so  DOP plasticizers are often applied in the following fields:

- DOP is miscible and compatible with single-molecule plasticizers commonly used in PVC, facilitating processing and use.

- DOP is often used in the process of creating self-adhesive films by processing plasticized PVC films. The processing methods to mention include extrusion - blowing packaging film, extrusion of spring door spinning mold, lamination...

- DOP also plays an important role in coatings such as cellulose, cellulose acetate butyrate for the purpose of plasticizers, and dispersants for these paints.

- Used in cables and wires: usually produced by extrusion. The most important application areas of cables and wires are construction, automotive, and electronics. Plasticized PVC is used for insulation, outer covering, and also as internal filler for lead roofing sheets.
