SOME ANTI-AGING AGENTS USED FOR RUBBER

1. Anti-aging substance TMQ RD - heat anti-aging

• Anti-aging agent TMQ is an antioxidant with relatively poor discoloration and fading properties. It provides outstanding protection against temperature effects in natural rubber, IR rubber, BR rubber, SBR rubber, NBR rubber, and EPDM but it is less suitable for CR rubber. Its effects are further improved when used with Vulkanox MB2 or ZMB2 which is particularly effective in products vulcanized with Thiuram with little or no sulfur content. Anti-aging agent TMQ also protects against various types of rubber product contamination.
• Applications include rubber products requiring high-temperature resistance e.g. tires, conveyor belts, V-belts, hoses, gaskets, and sleeves but also footwear, soles, heels, rubber, and cables, not recommended for light-colored products.

2. Anti-aging agent IPPD (4010NA)

• IPPD Anti-Aging Agent is a highly effective and multifunctional antioxidant, used in a wide range of applications; applied in natural rubber, a variety of neoprene products, and their latex.
• Application: making tires and other rubber and latex products in the cable industry.

3. Anti-Aging Agent 6PPD (4020)

• 6PPD has good resistance to environmental factors, ozone resistance… suitable for dark rubber (black). Insoluble in water; will blacken when exposed to air, but does not affect its properties. Due to its low melting point, it should be stored in a place with high temperatures.
• Applications
• Used for rubber products with high performance, low toxicity, and low amount of extraction solvent.
• It is also used as a stabilizer in synthetic rubber, and widely used in a variety of rubber products.

4. Anti-aging substance MB

• Anti-aging agent MB is a white powder. Odorless but bitter taste. The density is 1.42.
• Soluble in alcohol, acetone, ethyl acetate, sparingly soluble in petroleum ether, CH2Cl2. Insoluble in CCI4, benzene, and water
• Good stable storage capacity.
• Application: as a non-staining secondary antioxidant for natural rubber, CR, SBR, NBR, and EPR... Especially effective against thermal oxidation in combination 
• 

5. Some other anti-aging substances

• Anti-aging agents BHT, SP-P, Lowinox cps, Wing Stay L: suitable for colored rubber and Latex.
