TMQ ANTI-AGING AGENTS
Anti-aging agents can prevent or minimize the loss of vulcanized rubber.
TMQ represents anti-degradation agents based on polymerized Aniline-Acetone condensate products. The individual products differ according to the degree of polymerization and content of Dimer + Trimer + Tetramer.
TMQ acts as the primary antioxidant and is recognized as a powerful chemical antioxidant, used to protect the rubber from atmospheric oxygen degradation at higher temperatures.
Properties: Insoluble in water, moderately soluble in gasoline and alcohol, easily soluble in chloroform, benzene, acetone, and carbon disulfide. Melting temperature: 1020C-1060C
Effects: TMQ works for products processed from rubber, natural latex, or synthetic.
- Under normal conditions: very good natural aging resistance
- In hot heat exposure conditions: very good resistance to aging heat
- Under dynamic conditions: cracking delay (due to continuous folding) is very good.
